I use 'Free Software' to create my art. Free software is a matter of liberty not price. It is a matter of the users' FREEDOM to run, copy, distribute, study, change and improve the software.

meMYself & I
I started out in the days of 'Diatronic' & 'Photo Typositor' type setting machines, wax glue and paste-up. These machines filled rooms and unlike the pc's we use today, to get your typsetting to fit your layout and styled the way you like it required a deep knowledge of typography and attention to detail. A few clicks of a mouse in photoshop and you've got a perfect photo cut-out, we had to paint around the subject with a sable brush and opaque white paint. Imagine painting around individual human hairs. But what all this archaic way of working did achieve was to instill a desire for excellence by most who worked in graphic design.
